OUT to Sea
Welcome to Guernsey’s LGBTQ+ sea swimming group – it’s free to join and all are welcome!
Formed in May 2025, OUT to Sea is a relaxed, inclusive group sea swim & social.
It’s here so that everybody can enjoy all the benefits of a (hopefully not too) cold dip in the brine in our gorgeous Channel Islands waters!
We tend to meet on fortnightly sunny Wednesdays at the Bathing Pools, from spring to late summer.
Feel free to wear your bathers or whatever makes you sparkle!
Sea swimming is also at your own risk (unless Baywatch lifeguards happen to drop by!) and we advise all swimmers to read the RNLI’s Open Water Swimming guidance: https://rnli.org/water-safety/choose-your-activity/open-water-swimming
OUT to Sea is part of Liberate’s OUT Active programme, which aims to offer inclusive spaces for the LGBTQ+ community to get active.
OUT Active events have been kindly funded by the Saffery Rotary Walk 2025 and with sponsorship from the Co-Op and JT.
