Come throw hands at LGBTQ+ pottery in Guernsey! ππ³οΈββ§οΈ You asked for pottery, yoga, and boxing – here’s us making good on that! π€© ! VERY LIMITED SPACES ! Join us for a Pottery Wheel Work Class at Iris and Dora’s main studio on Ruette Braye! πͺ΄ You will get an hour with one of their experienced potters as part of a small group. During this hour, you will work on centering the clay and pulling it up. You will then have another hour of independent wheel time immediately afterwards. Open to complete beginners right up to experienced potters! Whatβs included? β€οΈβπ₯ 1 hour pottery group throwing lesson with one of our experienced potters. π§‘ 1 hour independent wheel time. π Bisque firing for 1 finished piece. What to wear? π Please wear comfortable clothing that you are relaxed about getting messy in. π We recommend trousers as youβll sit close to the wheel as you throw. No open toed shoes please. π Please ensure long hair is tied back, jewellery, watches, long necklaces, scarves etc are removed. π Please note that it is very difficult to throw pots with long nails. We can only put these sessions and offer reduce pricing on tickets on due to the kindness of Iris and Dora’s offering subsidised rates through its community fund, with the remainder covered by the Saffery Rotary Walk 2025.
