Boris Johnson has said he will raise gay rights with leaders of Commonwealth countries where being a part of the LGBTQ community is illegal.
Homosexuality is still illegal in 70% of the countries involved in the Commonwealth Games, despite organisers of the event insist the last two games have been the “most inclusive events in our movement’s history” – but it is clear that not enough is changing.
