Ben was raised in Guernsey and recently returned from Cornwall with his husband Oliver.
They want to raise a family here and are hoping to adopt. Having been through the adoption approval process in the UK they are now embarking on that same journey here in Guernsey.
Surprisingly, very few same sex adoptions have happened in Guernsey and we think that Oliver and Ben may be the first male same sex couple in the Bailiwick to go through this process.
