May 17th is #IDAHOT day. International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. People across the island have been posting photos in support.

Deputy Jonathan Le Tocq was among those who posted pictures of themselves holding a variety of signs showing their support for inclusion and diversity.
John Fernandez from ITV Channel Islands also posted a picture of himself with one of the signs.

#IDAHOT day was created in 2004 to draw attention to violence and discrimination against LGBT+ people internationally. It is celebrated every year across the globe on 17th May.
Thanks to those in Guernsey who have supported this day. You can view more of the photos on our Facebook page.
