Heather Peace will be headlining the first ever Channel Islands Pride event, to be held in St Heler, Jersey on 12th September.
She’s known as an actress on such TV shows as London’s Burning and Waterloo Road.
She’s also known for her music, and will play an acoustic set on the Pride stage, and will give the keynote speech.
Heather said : “I’m really very proud to have been asked to headline the Channel Island’s first ever pride parade. Being part of Pride festivals is important to me. I believe it’s a way for the LGBT community to remind themselves how far we’ve come but that there is also still a way to go before we reach full equality.”.
