It’s recently come to our attention that a London based group called the ‘Coalition 4 Marriage‘ have been handing out some dubious flyers in the High Street in Guernsey, protesting against the upcoming States of Guernsey vote on equal marriage on December 8th.
Of course, while the results of the recent consultation here showed that over 90% of Guernsey were in favour of same sex marriage, a London anti-marriage equality group with no apparent connection to the island must know better. So, feel free to email them – or better yet, email your deputies

There may well only be “estimated 690 homosexuals” on Guernsey – we haven’t counted – but we want equality for everybody. We’ll be outside Frossard House on the day of the vote if anybody wants to join us – feel free to come along!
