After setting up the successful Facebook page, "Guernsey says NO to Homophobia", Charlie joined a group of individuals who were trying to establish the Channel Island's first LGBTQ support group. Before long, this group was known as Liberate. Charlie believes that the hetrosexual/straight community play a vital role in promoting equality within the Channel Islands.
